Jay Gidwitz is an artist interested in the intersection of art and emerging technologies. His art is contemporary in methodology and content, while his style is often classically inspired. Jay received early training at the School of Representational Art in Chicago. He honed his thinking and expanded his range of work into photography, digital painting, video and installations while earning a BA in Visual Art at Brown University in Providence, RI. He is currently exploring photography, digital painting, writing, and an eclectic mix of new media projects. He divides his time between Providence and New York.
