Mark Jeffrey Firehouse 13 Performance Piece: The Vintage Treatment

September 5, 2009 By Jay Gidwitz Leave a Comment

This work was documentation for a performance piece at Firehouse 13 in Providence. It performance was a work by Mark Jeffrey & Judd Morrissey.

I gave a selected group of the photos the “vintage” treatment using “Poladroid” and “ToyCamera AnalogColor“.

I used Photoshop afterward to get the photos just how I wanted them… in this case, vintage looking amateur photography with sub-optimal technology.

I still seem to be playing with the idea of how to show the passage of time in a still image, without simply an illustration movement.

Distant memories from long ago.
